Privacy policy

Effective date: 1 November 2026

This policy explains what information AfroPrompt (“we”) collects when you use this website and how it is used.

Information we collect

AfroPrompt does not require an account and does not ask you to upload photos. Prompts you copy are placed on your device's clipboard by your browser; we do not receive them. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed, approximate location and device type). Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We may show advertising provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.

Third-party AI tools

When you open ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok from AfroPrompt, you leave our website. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern any photos or text you share with them.

Children

AfroPrompt is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Nigeria's NDPA, South Africa's POPIA, Kenya's Data Protection Act or US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Contact us at hello@afroprompt.com.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
